Spirit – Preserve Your Wedding Story
Your wedding day is a precious story longing to be told through the
breathtaking photography
of Mark Coffey of Freestone Spirit Photography.
Capture every moment of your special day with candid photography that
even years later will make
you smile, laugh, and cry remembering how you felt in that fleeting
moment – gone but preserved
forever in photos you will cherish always.
Mark is an experienced wedding photographer who approaches each wedding
as the unique
once-in-a-lifetime event that it is. He is a passionate professional
with an eye for seeing and
preserving poignant moments many miss.
“Every wedding story is just a little bit different and that
is what makes what I do so
fulfilling,” Mark says. “When else is an entire
story told from beginning to end in just
one day.”
Mark has a knack for watching moments unfold and for capturing moments
others miss while setting up
for the more formal shots.
“At the end of the day it is usually those less formal shots,
caught by me or the second
photographer who accompanies me, that couples treasure the
most,” he says.
We always photograph your day with two photographers. This enables us
to ensure that all of those
special moments are captured for you to complete your wedding day story.

About Mark and Sarah
Mark credits his own wedding photographer for inspiring his move from
traditional picture taking
to wedding photography.
“Our photographer was exactly what we wanted and what I try
to emulate – calm and unobtrusive
yet able to step forward and take charge when necessary,”
Mark says.
We are a husband and wife team who are environmentally minded. We met
guiding canoe trips in
the Canadian wilderness and continue to support green initiatives
through our proud membership
of 1% for the Planet.
Mark also teaches photography part-time at the Centre for Arts and
Technology in Kelowna;
teaching both photographic lighting courses and post production courses
in Photoshop.
